We provide advanced monitoring for your server and the services on it. Each server comes with 24/7/365 monitoring, anticipating, diagnosing and correcting any problems, so you can rest easy knowing we've got you covered.

Firewall and Brute Force Protection

Advanced Firewall (CSF) and Brute Force Protection (LFD) is installed and configured on your server. All ports which are not needed are blocked off, and we employ both ingress and egress filtering methods to provide the highest level of protection against attacks. We support brute force protection for many CMS systems, including WordPress, on request at no charge through mod_security.

Malware Scanning

On-request scanning of your website files for web-based malware is included on all plans. Site hacks happen and we're here to help you recover if you are a victim!

Spam Prevention and Anti-Virus

WiredTree deploys an enhanced anti-spam configuration that goes beyond what is normally included with cPanel to maximize spam reduction while keeping false positives to a minimum. We use a custom blend of Realtime Blocklists (RBLS), SpamAssassin, ClamAV Anti-Virus, SMTP-level hardening, and more which are updated continuously.

Operating System Hardening

WiredTree makes your server tough. Starting at the network level, we optimize the Linux TCP/IP stack for maximum performance and then harden the system against common network level attacks. At the Operating System level, we remove all unnecessary packages, disable unused services and processes, and configure system daemons for increased security and performance.

MySQL and MariaDB Optimization

We fully support MariaDB as a drop-in replacement for MySQL on all plans at no charge. All plans also include custom MySQL & MariaDB configuration and optimization based off your actual database usage and plan size.
